My name is Gaël. I make stories to be played.
I was born in Barcelona, to a Spanish father and a French mother. Because of this, I am fluent in both languages. I lived there for twelve years before moving to France. Today, I live in Lille, where I work at Ludogram.
Initially holding a degree in Film Studies, I supplemented this education with a course in Game Design. I entered the industry quite early, through an internship at the age of 19.
I've always loved creating things, and video games quickly emerged as my preferred medium. I am particularly keen on the mainstream approach offered by the medium: I like the idea of being able to create works that speak to all audiences.
Having been a caregiver for people with disabilities, I place great importance on accessibility in my creative process. I try to design my work in such a way that there are as few barriers and frictions as possible, especially for people with disabilities.
